DOJ crashed NASDAQ!
Many presses have blame that MSFT caused the NASDAQ crashed, which posted biggest one day drop and trillions of US investors' wealth vanished in a day! However, the truth is that it was not due to MSFT but the DOJ, which caused the fear in the whole tech industry that government could rule everything it wanted.
Radicularsly, the DOJ claimed that they were protecting consumers' interests while it took away hundreds and thousands dollars from consumers' saving and retirement account. The DOJ is paid by taxpayers but it acted for a small interest group and its personal ambitions. The judge has not just by ruling "MSFT was monopoly because it included its IE to Windows for free" which had been approved by Appeal Court. The judge may not know how to use computer and he did not care to order us to pay IE separately rather than get it free. When we have to pay more, we get protected. What a jerk!
