Hi Jeffry,

I agree about modifiers for the most part. You just never know what a little tweeking will do.
I've just completed using Pitbull for the month of Jan. I put everything into a model using 2.5% of the portfolio for each position. Anything that met Pitbull's criteria and was no more than 8% above a new high off a base of 3 weeks or more and had at least 40K in volume was included. I used the merit ranking and started at the top of the list. The first 3 that meet the 8% screen were selected for that day. I may have wanted to use other more "promising" stocks further down the merit scale, but those were the rules.
The result was a very stable portfolio. Since I tracked each day, there were of course quite a few stocks. 65 to be exact. Only two were sold because they fell at least 10% or more. There was also the use of margin. About 50%.

The result was a one month gain of 11%. Not bad. I'm trying to complete the model through the present. I'd like to see how it managed the decline of recent months.

Hope we can get this board going. There is something to this system. I'm looking for some validation before I throw any money at it.

Bye
