Andre:

I wouldn't characterize the bounce as representative of a come back "with a vengeance;" certainly not with the vengeance it tanked down this AM.

Anybody have any rationale for this move? Or has the market lost all rationale. I find the high-tech selling extremely indiscriminate, which IMO, indicates irrational selling. When the blue chip hi-techs are taking haircuts fairly commensurate with the dot-com "wing-and-a-prayer" types, the market has lost all sense -- at least on the sell side.

Is margin calls really the culprit here? Do that many investors play the leverage game here? And if so, would not the prudent one have unloaded a leveraged position awhile ago (last week). FWIW, what I see is stocks being "taken out & shot" simply because they were good enough to survive the first, and even second wave of "shooting." JMO.
