I have to say that it is actually a well written post ... you have hit the nail on the head!

Just as you have described, this is the reason that the "Steve Jobs" and "Steve Ballmers" of the world get so much attention ... they "stand on chairs" ...

I had never quite thought of it in this way ... but it's a very good explanation of what get's people's attention ... not numbers, earnings, strategy, and presentations ... but instead *how* they are presented ...

... and that reminds me of an article that I read in Wired magazine years ago ... Jon Katz stated that "... attention will be the currency of the future!"

He's right ... ;-)
