No bounce. . .no buyers. . . Why? We individual investors just won't shake. There is simply not enough panic out there. A few stories here and there. . .but for the most part, investors are remaining quite cool.

This is a big game of chicken.

Large hedge funds and brokerages are shorting the markets until they see blood from the retail investors [you and I].

But we are not selling the panic, and are more interested in buying it.

[When you think about it, that must really anger them]

So we are in a standoff. . . we aren't going to panic. . .and insist on buying. . . and the Fat Cats are not going to cover and start to buy until they see us selling.

So how low can we go before the less experienced traders cry "uncle"?

3800?

How about 3600?

Will you sell at 3350?

I am more disturbed by the lack of bounce off 3900 than I am that we lost 4000.

What are the odds that the Nas could keep dropping straight through earnings season?

We just hit 3885. . . here comes 3800. . .

All in a single day? Can you believe it?
