Rick, it didn't seem to help the panic..... My account has been fully short for several weeks as a hedge to my one long position, but I take no pleasure in today's events. Unless we get a quick "buy the dip" rebound, this will be bad for the economy as a whole. The one consolation is that it probably means no more interest rate increases! And probably will help the prospects of Mr. Bush.
