Steve C... Give it up... The problem is the foothold the trial Lawyers are getting in the high tech industry. In theory, torts are there to protect the individual. In practice, such cases can often turn out to be money grabs and do much more far reaching damage, as evidenced by todays action. Clearly, the markets see the governments intrusion into the tech sector as potentially affecting a lot more than just Microsoft. OTOH, Japan Inc is laughing at the US governments treatment of it's legal companies and licking their chops. Jim
