Rearranging the deck chairs (on the Titanic) seems to our preoccupation these days. Schwab is quoting $580 bid and $630 asked (I wonder when they are going to narrow the spread). Or is it fiddling while Rome burns. The truth is, I would be actively buying Softbank today except that the meltdown of the rest of Nasdaq seems to be creating a lot of other buying opportunities. Softbank is still my biggest single holding and my favorite single company. I am committed to diversification however. Last year I sold Intel, Boeing, and Toyota so I could buy Softbank. I do not regret it. (Not yet, anyway <G>).
