Boy Oh Boy what runs around on these things - - Let's just say that material obtained from the faxback number pretty well spells it out to be little more than yet another internet telephony type deal. The "no computer/no modem" part appears to be due to a proprietary black box. The box probably has RJ-11 jacks on it and it appears that the "patented technology" involves some sort of voice compression. I see the post above this shows: "I am told that I-Link has the technology to run one single phone line into a household which would allow a consumer to operate, simultaneously, eight different devises. Well, if that's so then it would have to be some sort of high-bandwidth dedicated line because a standard dial-tone line just doesn't have the bandwidth to allow it. Could we be seeing some sort of variation on the IAS theme here? iaus.com Get the faxback material and consult a reputable telecom engineer.
