Sergio VIX not a stock...LOL I know that the volatility index is not a stock, but charts are charts. Futures, stocks, options, stats of any kind in chart form do the same thing. I would expect even more ups and downs given the indications of the chart. I too would like for a nice quite little stock that you buy and hold for 6 months to a year and make your 50 to 100%, but the market has taken on the 21st century attitude of "I want it now" so you have to play the game. Bet if you asked 10 people on the street about the stocks they own they would not have a clue as to the condition of the co. or what it actually does for a living. I read a post a couple of days ago..jest of it was "I'm new to this stock, could anyone tell me what their product is?" LOL. He "liked the momo" As to the sell offs. What has changed about MXTR today that was not there a week ago when it was at high 13? Margin debt is part of the culprit here. Too many people have borrowed to the hilt thinking that there is no end to the uptick...sell off starts, margin calls come in, no cash to cover, sell the stock...short sellers see weakness and the ball goes faster and faster down the hill.
