Universal Media, Inc.'s Subsidiary E-Trans Logistics and Velocity Intellectual Properties To Develop National Shipping Network
NEW YORK, March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- James Zimbler, Chairman of Universal Media Holdings, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: UVTF), announced today that one of the Company's subsidiaries, E-Trans Logistics and Velocity Intellectual Properties have agreed to jointly develop American Freight Exchange (AFE), a national freight network set to revolutionize the shipping industry.
By using a logistical approach, AFE will link (utilizing proprietary back- end software, Internet, Intra-net, and Extra-net), the nation's thousands of small local carriers, which haul 70% of the country's freight, into one seamless REAL TIME shipping network. Acting as a "travel broker," AFE will address issues such as accountability with established membership criteria, while handling all evaluations, maintenance and approvals. In doing this, AFE will have the capability to meld local trucking carriers and their geographically specific knowledge with national air and rail affiliates, forging a shipping fleet far more vast and accurate than any of the nation's largest freight firms.
With E-Trans Logistics' April installation of its "SHIP EGIS" system and its vast array of trucking communication capabilities, American Freight Express should soon be able to establish itself as one of the leading choices in the freight shipping industry.
