Re: ""A wafer started in December of 1998? I don't think so."
Well, Fudd, what do you think now? I've given you physical evidence that it was not a simple mistake on my part and indeed a wafer was started in or close to December of 1998 and now you want to quibble about manufacturing vs production when that wasn't the issue to begin with. "

Mr crazyoldman, you'll find I don't respond well to insults, especially when I've been quite polite to you. If you can't use my correct name then in the future I will ignore your posts.

I disagree with you but it is becoming clear that you are not interested in a discussion but an argument instead. You want to believe Athlon was in production in December of '98 then fine, believe it. I don't. I do however believe that it is quite possible, even probable, that they had samples from that period. You want to call it quibbling then fine too. Apparently you are unclear about the term "production". I know the difference between samples and production, even if you don't, and that was what I was referring to. If you don't know what the term means then it seems to me that you are the one with the problem, not me. You don't like that? That's fine too.
