Also this morning's press release didn't make it onto SI yet. I guess, for now, so what if U.S. legislators drag their feet. Also I have no margin debt. So I can ride this thing out. I was planning on cooling it until the end of August anyway. I would use this as a buying opportunity.

Internet Ticket Sales to Launch by End of June, 2000
NORWALK, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 5, 2000--eLOT, Inc. (NASDAQ: ELOT - news) today announced that conventional sales for the UK's first charity lottery have begun with a ``soft launch' of the Pick 3 game ``The Daily Number.' The game is expected to eventually ramp up to 15,000 terminals throughout Great Britain. eLottery has announced that its Internet lottery ticket sales of The Daily Number will begin by late June of 2000. eLottery has a four-year contract under which the Company is the exclusive web-based retailer and provider of games for the UK charity lottery.

An essential part of eLottery's role in the UK charity lottery will be the establishment of a secure Internet interface to the conventional lottery system, which in this case is operated by International Lottery and Totalizer Systems, Inc. (OTC:ITSI - news). ``The eLottery secure Internet interface to the conventional lottery system will Internet enable The Daily Number and other future games. It will be valuable verification of eLottery's unique and extensive Internet lottery know-how,' said eLottery President Mike Yacenda.

After the soft launch is complete, a comprehensive television, radio, print, free media and new media marketing campaign will commence. It is expected that drawings will also be televised. Games will benefit diverse good causes with numerous charities already in the program and many more on the way. The UK charity lottery is authorized by the Gaming Board for Great Britain, with GTL Management Ltd. serving as the operating company on behalf of Inter Lotto (UK) Ltd.

eLottery Senior Vice President Charles Degliomini concluded, ``The UK is a very important market for lottery sales. Current UK lotteries generate sales of approximately US$12 billion annually. The new UK charity lottery represents a significant opportunity for eLottery to enter this market.'>>
