The Sony flash chip memory player was really blasted by Walter Mossburg of the WSJ.

Nevertheless, LQID and ARTD surely are interesting. The problem is I haven't had time to sort out their business plans. ARTD did not really drop yesterday.

But if they both are into signing up artists for downloads from the artists' websites, this IS the future of the recording industry.
