Happy Girl, your claims are inconsistent.

If the market were a perfect or near perfect mechanism for valuing companies, then prices wouldn't change very much year to year. They would rise in a manner commensurate with inflation and interest rates.

After all, Happy Girl, if the market is so efficient, then what on earth is the person who's selling you your stocks thinking? "Gee, I'd like to give Happy Girl some free money?"
