The biggest question is raised by Goldman. I believe they indicated that the most seasoned professionals of the salesforce of PMTC is leaving to join others pre-IPO internet companies. If this is indeed the case, then PMTC has a real problem. They have always relied on their aggressive salesforce to gain entry and close deals. If they have lost significant sales talent, this is a commodity that is not easily replaced. THIS would be a very significant point and a MAJOR negative for PMTC going forward. To make their Windchill numbers, they need a SALESFORCE who can CLOSE DEALS. The best salesforce wins, and PMTC has always led in this critical area.
