Mike, the honest answer is that if a bird of that size was to be close enough to either end's transceiver to completely block all of the transmit apertures simultaneously or the entire receive aperture there would be a loss of signal. It is less likely than it sounds. The bird flying around between transceivers would be almost impossible to block the entire signal in either direction.
