From what I gathered visiting their website, this is still a DESTINATION SITE for transactions. IMHO, destinations are the current model for B2(fill in the blank) and not the future. IMHO - information will be delivered to end-users as more and more companies leverage technologies such as Directories and services leveraging Directories to deliver customized content based on user "profiles". In that scenario, "agents" residing on server will be tasked with "searching" the internet (and various exchanges I may choose to participate in) for the best price, availability & quantity needs I have then present that information in a web-based view. Now the aspect of this future scenario is the word "profile". It has such a negative connotation. Well, what if I was the one that managed and maintained my own personal profile? By doing so I could choose to "share" information with a particular entity creating a relationship. Every transaction includes a relationship (buyer, agent, seller).
