An interesting new coverage map is available at Elscacom's web site:

elsacom.com

It doesn't attempt to show what's covered NOW, but indicates all of Europe (except Poland, Czech Rep, Hungary and Bulgaria, but including W. Russia) Morocco, Tunisia and 2/3 of China, S. Africa covered "by June 2000."

Rest of Russia, China, Australia, and all of mid-East (except Iraq and Lybia) are shown covered "by 2nd half 2000.

In the W. Hemisphere and Australia there are several odd points which cast doubt on the accuracy of the map. It shows NW Canada and Central America uncovered until "2nd half 2000" as well as 2/3 of Australia.

The map claims nautical coverage of all of Caribbean, Med and Baltic Ocean, and most of Atlantic by 2Q2000.
