Hi, Elliot,

Compared with the a lot of the "gleam in the eye" high tech hopes, DDEV has held up well during the past week... so far.

I don't understand as well as I would like where DDEV fits into the competitive picture of the wireless web... but it does seem to be a company on the move toward increasing substance.

Distinctive Devices, Inc. Announces Letter of Intent to acquire Domestic/International Teleport

DELRAY BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 5, 2000--Michael J. Paolini, President of Distinctive Devices, Inc. (OTCBB:DDEV) announced today that the Company had executed a letter of intent to acquire an existing teleport facility with both domestic and international licenses. Mr. Paolini stated that the facility had approximately six million dollars in annual sales for the last fiscal year. The transaction is accretive to earnings. The facility is to be purchased for approximately six million dollars in cash and stock.

Mr. Paolini further stated that the combination of satellite transmission from the teleport and Distinctive Devices, Inc.'s wireless local loop solution were extremely complementary. This will greatly facilitate the expansion of the Company's efforts to provide two-way wireless high speed Internet connectivity in the domestic and international markets.
