INTRODUCING - CORPORATE VISION, INC. (OTCBB: CVIA)
Looking to diversify that portfolio? Here is a company with the same point of view!
Corporate Visions, Inc. is based in Tulsa, OK. The Company is a developmental stage holding company, venture capital and investment banking company; with its current and future assets consisting primarily of investments in its subsidiaries or purchasing assets in potential subsidiaries and or high yield income producing real estate properties. The Company focuses on the smaller companies that are ? underneath? the Wall Street Radar Screen, typically with a market value of small-cap companies of $30 million or less.
We can?t begin to cover, in detail, all of the pies that CVI has a finger in, so we will do a broad overview in this article and follow up with additional articles in the coming weeks. Also, we will have one of our Research Reports available soon.
How?s this for diversity?
Corporate Vision, through its wholly owned subsidiary CVI Resources, participates in natural resource and energy production. Some examples of the Company?s projects: A 45% interest in a 640 acre placer gold claim located in southern Utah in which one 25-acre section has been assayed to contain approximately $94 million in gold (assuming $300/ounce). A joint venture with ROCO Petroleum, Inc. in which the Company has a 30% stake in an oil well expected to recover up to 300,000 barrels of West Texas Intermediate Crude Oil.
Through another wholly owned subsidiary, CVI Developments, the Company is procuring two large parcels of prime undeveloped residential real estate located in New Boston, NH. These parcels of land will be developed as master planned communities in a joint venture with Waller Construction Group of New Hampshire. Plans are in place to spin-off CVI Developments as an independent public entity soon, with Corporate Vision retaining a substantial interest in the new company. As part of the spin-off, Corporate Vision, Inc. shareholders will receive shares in the new company.
One of the most intriguing aspects of CVI is their pursuit of small-cap companies, with great futures, to take public. The basic criteria for the companies selected are that they are still private, need funds for expansion or to continue to execute the business plan, and a requirement that the principles in the company stay in place at least 3 years. Instead of charging underwriting fees, CVI takes a position in the company?s stock to take them public and distributes some of the stock to CVI shareholders prior to the release.
The first IPO is ArchivalCD, Inc. a company specializing in digitization of historic microfilm, enhancing the images, and writing them to CD. ArchivalCD uses proprietary processes and proprietary and licensed software for image enhancement, compression, and indexing of the image databases. There are many markets for this service, not the least of which is the booming genealogy market. CVI owns 15% of the stock of ArchivalCD. This IPO is imminent as we go to press.
Other companies that CVI has in the pipeline include:
Phipps Multimedia - a high tech multimedia company. Check this out at phippsinteractive.com. CVI has a 25% stake in this gem.
Great Mane Marketing - owns patents for a revolutionary new hair growth process. 13.5% ownership.
Clickgarden.com ? PC-base Internet software to provide a unique easily personalized web browser with the ability to easily capture any parts of any Web page, organize the captured pages or parts thereof into coherent permanent ? collections?, apply compression and encryption as appropriate, and subsequently review, search, modify, share, print, or email these collections. 4% ownership.
This is only the surface here and we will provide more in our report and in upcoming newsletters.
