You may want to re-think this just a bit. With the case in the fast-track, George Bush may be too late to help Microsoft, but just in time to help Netscape/AOL, Sun, Apple, etc. avoid their possible Anti-Trust day of reckoning by liberalizing the Anti-Trust Laws.
Best thing to do, if planning to substitute a political solution to a legal problem, would be to go Democratic if you believe in leveling the playing field for Bill. George Bush may unintentionally go easy on Microsoft's rivals by frustrating the enforcement of the Anti Trust Laws on them.
This thing is already a Finding of Law for Microsoft (Guilty), so it's a bit late to change the rules just to help them.
Democrats. Strange bedfellows, eh what?!

PS: If you are going to go the Republican Candidate route, it would be important to stress to him that the suitcase is to promote Microsoft's interests, not to frustrate the Anti-Trust Laws per se. You have to make these things clear to these guys, you know. Otherwise, they think it is a political philosophy issue with across the board applications. H. |
