Symantec Signs Procurement Agreement With Canadian Government
Symantec Awarded Government-Wide Standing Offer
CUPERTINO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 5, 2000--Symantec Corporation (Nasdaq: SYMC), a leading provider of Internet Security technology, today announced it has signed a procurement agreement, known as a Departmental Individual Standing Offer (DISO) with Public Works and Government Services Canada. This agreement will allow government departments, agencies and wholly owned government corporations to access Symantec products at pre-negotiated pricing, terms and conditions.

This DISO agreement, number E60ET-9-0030/001/ET, allows the Canadian Federal Government, departments, agencies, departmental and crown corporations to procure Commercial Off the Shelf Software (COTS) products through December 31, 2001.
