A couple months back, NVLS was rumoured to be taking over MTSN. That didn't happen, and IMO, isn't likely to happen ever. I don't think Brad is ready to sell to anyone, yet.

However NVLS may be buying some other company. And it's possible that a $500M purchase could still be accretive.
The "shelf" merely facilitates the action should it become necessary. I don't believe that NVLS has committed to do anything whatsoever yet.

Any guesses as to which company might be a candidate for NVLS?
