Why do we daytrade now and not buy and hold? Because its easy. Sorry, but when its so easy to buy and sell a stock and make your profit within 7 seconds, you don't really want to take hundreds and thousands and just leave it where the volatility, worse than any option decay, will have their way with your money. And if no one wants to admit that 'times they are a'changing' should only look at the biotechs and stocks like EMLX, CREE etc. SO why invest $$$$ in 1/8 point in AOL when you can get 20 in CREE and EMLX? By making trading 'technically' easy, traders with more experience will wait for market turnarounds and commit their cash for a few hours and then take it back when its worked for you.
