Sorry to change the subject, but on a site like this one my question is probably appropriate.
Did anyone experience the same difficulty I did, today and yesterday, trying to navigate the net? Especially, trying to open the financial sites? The only ones that responded in less than five minutes (I kid you not!) were Yahoo Finance and SI (but even they were slo-o-o-w!).
I am assuming that this was because of all the on-line trading going on. I see the same future for the information highway that our regular highway system has already experienced: the wider you make the highways, the more you multiply them, the more people use them, which, in turn, leads to more upgrades, more construction, ad infinitum.
Bah! If I were heavily into trading, I would have had to shoot myself today -- or shoot a broker, or a webmaster, or something. Frustration city!
