RE: Routing light People, my understanding is, you can switch packets with optical, but you can't route packages with optical. Think of the "switching" as changing the direction of all of the packets involved, and "routing" as sorting all of the packages by the tag on them, and sending them on to a specific destination We had this discussion a couple of weeks ago on the thread, and I thought it was covered pretty well, but I guess some of the companies in the industry are confusing the issue.
