chic,

Welcome aboard.

<Don't bad mouth my favorite ANALyst Kumar, he was on board when AMD was at $20!!!>

If you have followed this thread over the last year you would see that I really avoid bad mouthing people but I should say I can't resist the temptation to throw a barb or two at reasonably intelligent clowns like Kumar and Paul.

I should be thankful to these folks though - to have helped me in picking up bargains over the last year. I have a small AMD purchase from mid-last year at under $16 and that is up over 300% as of today. I have several others at $16, $19, $20, $25/26, $48 and $49 (most recent options expiration buy) and I will continue to do so until I feel good about the prospects for this stock.

I look at some of the analyst ratings and First call EPS estimates and laugh. It is ironic that people still do not appreciate what is going on with this company today. A lot of these guys have no business being semiconductor analysts - some other industry - may be. (Exceptions like Niles/LaFountain/Joseph deserve a lot of credit for seeing this stuff earlier than their peers).
