Which stocks will long-term benefit the most if MSFT breaks up? I don't believe in any Linux distribution vendor, like RHAT, Mandrake, SuSE etc., would succeed, but CORL has the benefits of having both an Office suite for Linux, programming tools (with Kylix out this summer) and a fantastic growth in the Linux distribution market. Many non-Linux games written for Windows easily run with Corel Linux, and Linux games run even better. I could only see bad management stopping it from becoming a hot stock.

What about Apple? With MS Office, Linux software and a hot user interface it also seems like an interesting stock. (I have some of these)

SUNW is also mentioned by quite a few, but the only replacement for MS products is thin clients, that they sell for a very high price.

Any other good ideas?
