Hi Lost: "Freak out" was written and recorded by Chic, consisting of Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards. Nile is seen as one of the best base players in rock and roll. Next time you heard that song, pay close attention to the baseline. It's a thing of beauty. At this point, Nile's better known as a producer. He's produced Madonna, David Bowie, Diana Ross... written for them all too.
