Unexpectedly, I am able to watch the open this morning. Puppy bid-gapper report: NVO/t EXE.A/t GSL/t GXP/t PLC/v TMG/v YF.A/t These are the top puppy gappers by current bids at around 9:08 et. As usual, real cheap stuff is omitted and each has a 10 day average volume of 200k or more. Some of these have little volume on the bid. The hottest one in terms of bidding volume appears to be NVO/v. As everyone knows, I am bearish these days, but the bidding today is on average stronger than yesterday at this time. I track a number that averages the bidding gap up or down for all puppies in Canada. Yesterday that number was about -2.5% before the open. As I write it is around 0% and climbing. Cheers. --Allan
