Considering JDSU paid $750 million for Cronos which has 67 employees and $10 million revenue, I think it's hard to assign a metric to optical communications companies at the beginning of this revolution. Within a few years, fiber to the home is a way to show-off your status just like the cell-phones were 3 years ago.
