Frontline Communications Corp. Acquires Internet
Service and DSL Provider in the Washington/Baltimore
Region

The PressRoom Online Services Will Serve as Frontline's First Regional
Office

PEARL RIVER, NY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 6, 2000-- Frontline Communications Corp. (AMEX: FNT - news),
www.frontline.net, today announced it has acquired The PressRoom Online Services, www.pressroom.com, a provider of
Digital Subscriber Line (DSL), dedicated access, dial-up access, and Web hosting to over 2,000 businesses and individuals in
the Washington/Baltimore region.

Frontline will utilize PressRoom's Washington, DC metropolitan location as a base of operations for its first regional office to
execute Frontline's plan for market expansion in the Mid-Atlantic states. As outlined in its business plan, Frontline plans to
establish a presence and acquire additional customers--both organically and through acquisition-- in that region for
consolidation into its network.

``This acquisition is our first since closing our $17 million preferred stock offering in February, and we could not be more
pleased,' said Frontline President and CEO Stephen J. Cole-Hatchard. ``Not only does PressRoom add additional small
business customers and revenue to Frontline, but it expands our network footprint and our geographic reach into the
Mid-Atlantic region. This acquisition represents the execution of our business plan, which calls for establishing a geographic
presence in lucrative markets such as Washington, DC.'

Headquartered in Chantilly, VA, PressRoom is owned by two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Greg Gibson, who founded
the company in 1994. Mr. Gibson will join Frontline as Regional Manager and will oversee sales, marketing, and technical
activities at the location.

``We are excited to be part of the Frontline family,' said Gibson. ``Frontline's resources, including its partnerships with the
major DSL carriers, its ecommerce and Web development products, and superior connectivity will allow us to provide our
customers with numerous products and services we were unable to provide by ourselves. Frontline's vision for aggressive
growth backed by high quality customer service mirrors our own strategy for the continued success of our company.'
