The revenue breakdown is given in the reports filed. The revenue going forward will include additional revenue from the design wins won during the second, third and fourth quarters of last year. Design wins take approximately eight to ten months to materialize on the books. Nearly all the design wins, according to the CEO is generating revenue greater than their internal expectations, and one design win is generating revenue much greater than their expectations. As RSYS continues to move forward, revenue from these design wins will begin to show on the bottom line. You couple these gains with the increasing VME revenue from the acquired Intel business, and you have a winner. Also, revenue has been increasing quarter over quarter, $11, $22, $27 million, and for the latest quarter nearly $28 (the slowest quarter of the year). VME revenue is expected to double by the year 2000 and PCi revenue is expected to dramatically increase.
The fact that they earned .43 in the slowest quarter of the year shows significant strength, in my estimation, going forward. |
