Compaq system integration experts and resellers to deploy wireless solution to their customers
Burnaby, British Columbia, April 6, 2000 - Infowave Software, Inc. (TSE: IW) today announced that it has been chosen by Compaq (NYSE: CPQ) as a partner in their Business Solutions for Exchange (BSE) program. The BSE program chooses best in class software vendors in several categories including: wireless, collaborative computing, unified messaging, security, virus protection, management, and tools for the Microsoft Exchange environment. Infowave was selected by Compaq as part of its new BSE initiative to deliver wireless enterprise solutions.
Compaq is the world's leader in Microsoft Exchange Server based messaging solution deployments. Compaq will offer a complete, end-to-end wireless messaging solution that includes Compaq server hardware, Infowave software, and Compaq mobile devices. Compaq Professional Services will offer systems integration services for the Infowave solution as part of its Messaging Services portfolio.
