Social issues are always going to be divisive and difficult to articulate. However, it's all part of the same system.

Addressing fiscal issues without addressing social issues such as Welfare, public schools, prisons, governments growth, family structure, expanded day care, lack of morality etc. Would be nonsense. One effects the other. And vice a versa.

All you have with that statement is a cliche'. One espoused often by the talking heads. Honestly tackling the root cause of societal ills, requires much more than studying a monetary spread sheet.
