Michael,

One thing I do know is that in NCDs Feb Conference Call, they said they have another reseller agreement to announce that will "rival" the one with Hitachi. They just haven't been given permission to announce it yet.

What I'm hearing is that Citrix is using their clout to divert (mostly hardware) business from NCD because of NCDs competing ThinPATH software.

If NCD can be an exclusive hardware supplier to large successful marketing companies (Hitachi, HP) that aren't influenced by Citrix, then there is hope. It's hard to say how much hardware they could sell under those conditions. One would be tempted to use the IBM relationship as a benchmark, but that wouldn't be fair. The boxes sold in that relationship were not Microsoft OS-based terminals, which is what seems to have the growth today.

The revenues for Q1 are dismal. They should be twice what they were. Wyse is in the same business and they are quite successful. They also enjoy a good relationship with Citrix.

I don't think Microsoft cares much one way or another if a customer uses ICA or RDP/ThinPATH. As long as they pay for their seat licenses.

Buyout? Can't deny it's a possibility. But I'd rather not speculate.
