So, what exactly is the story there, Quiksand? Give one a break, JC. Sun management is giving the press the chance to make noise about delays in important new strategic products. Whether the press is right or wrong in some rigorous sense is beside the point. Sun is a 100-PE high-flyer that has to execute. Are you saying US3-based machines aren't late? I'm not going to pay much attention to statements to that effect. I am not and will never be a blind cheerleader. I believe in Sun's vision. I believe the company is sound and growing. I also like to see billionaire executives juggling half of my net worth earn their salaries, and I don't like to see them issue statements about how it's ok not to get new products out quickly because competition isn't much of a problem. The books that Bill G writes are naive and boring. Andy Grove's are insightful and intelligent. Andy says: only the paranoid survive. --QS
