RE: "it is to be wondered how many of the non-thinking

if Clinton were a Republican. My suspicion is that, were this
the case, Clinton would have been long gone- impeached, dis-
credited, and imprisoned."

I agree, but let's get back to the stock market. The 1973-74 Bear Market, perhaps the worst in my lifetime, followed on the tails of the Watergate/Nixon resignation debacle. I can't help but worry that, if Clinton is forced to resign (and maybe even be thrown in prison for his complete disregard of the American legal system), it may cause another significant Bear Market.

Does anyone share my concern? Would the market also be impacted if Vice President Gore is prosecuted for his self-admitted illegal fund raising activities? Would the market be affected if Hillary is prosecuted for bank fraud or for her cattle future deals?

One of Bob's favorite questions is: If Hillary is thrown in jail, will President Clinton give her a pardon?

Am I concerned over nothing, or could these things lead to market declines? Your input is welcome.
