Premiums are subject to various influences, time decay being one. Options decay "suddenly" after each month's expiry. I don't know the rate they'd decay in the next week or two. Somebody else on the thread probably has a reference or bookmark for you on that (I hope). I have not done such near term calls, i.e. held a near term call to close to expiry.
