I made clear what disturbed me about Steven's post.

If you feel as he does about, for example, the turning away of the shipload of fleeing Jews, so that they were returned to the Nazis from whom they'd fled, well, then you feel that that was not a guilty act. Not even an antisemitic one, if you are with Steven on this.

We are all different in our perceptions.

Did Ike say misery was his exclusive property? I didn't see that. You did, though.
