Think about the benefits to the consumer...of a player that does play multiple codecs....seamlessly, without transcoding. As much as people talk about MP3...that has to be frustrating as heck for consumers to use...but they use it... in spite of poor bandwidth, long download times, poor quality your ability to "read" consumers...is a little weak..don't underestimate the consumer....and realize what the consumer will demand..."multi-codec" players....until there is one standard. Meanwhile...EDIG is ready...and able to provide this to consumers. Mary
