Tom,

Yes, Tuesday was a good day. I put an order in for VECO at 58 1/2. The bid ask was 58 1/4 X 60 15/16 at the time, if I remember. I was going to play a little MM but undercutting the Bid and then undercutting the ASK. THat spread was ridiculous.

At any rate, Schwab responded to my order placement with some sort of message like: "STOP. Your order may have been placed or may not have been placed. PLease call blah, blah, blah..."

I just said the hell with it and logged off. Needless to say, the order never was placed. Schwab lets you down right when you need them most. Oh well. I guess being the highest commission of the discount brokers doesn't buy you everything.
