ST Systems Continues Florida Expansion

Hayward, California -- April 4, 2000

Sable Technologies Inc., a subsidiary of ST Systems Corp
(CDNX:SYT), a leading manufacturer and marketer of restaurant
Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems, announced today that it has acquired
the assets, inventory, and customer and service bases of
Hospitality Data Systems (HDS). HDS, a Sarasota, FL-based POS
dealer, specializing in sales and service of touch-screen POS
systems, has current annualized sales of over $1.0 million per
year.

The acquisition continues ST's recently announced strategy of
establishing a strong presence throughout Florida's rapidly
expanding table-service restaurant industry. HDS and its
President, Randy Cartlidge, will work closely with and report to
ST's other recent Florida-based acquisition, Business Machines
Inc. (BMI), and its President, Robert E. Frazier Jr. HDS will
specialize in the sales and service of Sable's new DirecTouch
touch-screen product line and will also take over some of BMI's
service responsibilities in the Western Florida area.

Cartlidge expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating,
"This brings all of the added capability of ST Systems Corp. to
Florida's West Coast. It allows us to provide our customer base
with a broader selection of products and a higher level of
service and technical expertise than was previously possible
without the backing of an industry leader like Sable
Technologies."

J. Douglas Bailey, Chairman and CEO of ST Systems, agreed,
adding, "We are fortunate in acquiring HDS and its talented
founder, Randy Cartlidge. Sable Technologies, BMI, and HDS
together bring a formidable presence to the burgeoning Florida
marketplace, and restaurant POS users will be the beneficiaries."

ST Systems, through its subsidiaries Sable Technologies and
Documentor Sciences, provides experienced, professional
systems-integration services, addressing the POS and back-office
needs of both table-service and quick-service restaurants. With
its deserved reputation for 24-hour service and customer loyalty,
ST Systems is favorably positioned for continued growth and
profitability into the new millennium.
