To all: I received my proxy statement and 10k in the mail last night from EMC. Believe it or not I READ IT ALL. Sadly, I did not get any impression that there will be a stock split. Indeed I now realize they have only had 2 splits in the past 5 years. One I think it was in 1997 and one in 1999. I now feel there is less liklihood of a stock split soon, although, I did note there are currently sufficient authorized unissued shares to enact one. Incidentally, for those who have read the proxy, how do you feel about increasing the authorized shares for stock options by 10 Million? JDN
