Any notion that the money went into the heath care system is pure fabrication.
The Canadian health care system is falling apart at the seams; hospital beds are
closed in the face of increasing demand, equipment is not adequately maintained,
and there are shortages of both doctors and nurses for the foreseeable future.
Medical schools are not training enough new doctors. To catch up they would
have to open school enrollments now and it would take another seven years to
turn around. Canadians are so "proud" of there health care identity that they
refuse to fix it. The best and the brightest move to the states.
