Isn't SQL 7.0 called SQL2000? And what hasn't been released yet is SQL DataCenter 2000?
---

SQL 7.0 has been out for almost a year now. SQL 2000 is the next release, due out later this year - you may have read about it in the press as "Shiloh".

Datacenter only applies to Windows 2000. So far, Windows 2000 has been released in Professional, Server, and Advanced Server editions. Datacenter (also due out later this year) will offer significant high-end features over Advanced Server.

If you happened to watch the Windows 2000 launch, the Unisys ES7000 with all the CPUs and RAM was running Windows 2000 Datacenter.
