I don't think Nokia is upset about the W-CDMA schedule. Any delay means bigger sales for GPRS and EDGE. That's a market where Nokia has a higher share than it would have in W-CDMA. And that's a market that does not benefit Qualcomm in any way. Nokia is not the company that needs IPR revenue to bolster its profit growth - they are succeeding as a manufacturer. 2.5G sales will be enough to trigger a handset upgrade cycle and the phones will be cheap enough to reach mass market by next spring.
