Earnings Dates... Okay let me explain. I get a $75 monthly service from First Call. The money is unimportant only to mention that I don't get 'freebie' dates off the internet. But First call only give out their 20-25 page earnings reports on Wednesday night BEFORE the stocks reports. That means I get the report on Wednesday night the 5th at 6:00 for the stocks reporting from the 10th through the 14th.

That means the stocks on today's watch list and all the stocks that I printed the earnings dates from April 10 through the 14th are confirmed as per First Call. Any other earnings date after 14th.. I have to get either:

a) off the internet and the reliability drops dramatically (sometimes 25% or more)

b) from Investor Relations or from the website. I quoted VTSS from the website.. but only about 10-15% have it on their website.

By putting out the earlier 'newsletter' I tried to give subscribers a headstart to the earnings season and it works because the 'best' stocks have already exploded into uptrends (even those reporting the 25th, the 28th etc).. I won't be doing headstarts any longer. I did so because of the tech wreck we had. Our basic service will include 4 updated weekly 'newsletter-like' analyses in the "custom earnings calendar" ...

They will be on the custom earnings calendar and will be available like last year... the stocks might appear without the research on Thursday morning and with research by Sunday afternoon only but only for those stocks reporting during the upcoming week There will also be a span of about 2-3 weeks each season when there won't be earnings plays at all since the earnings are sparce.

There will only be dates called from either First Call and or Investor Relations. If they unavailable from either source, the internet is open for everyone (yhoo, vcall, market watch, net earnings, etc) and these dates are there. They are not all that reliable but I can't do better than that. There must be a uniformity of the basic service and the sources for the dates MUST be as accurate as possible.
