Re: "Dell also said operating expenses would be slightly higher in the first and second quarters as the company introduces new hardware and services for the ``back office' market.

``We are concerned that this (attack on the Internet infrastructure market) could cause a potential conflict with the direct model, but Dell argues it will effectively ``own' customer relationships,' wrote SG Cowen analyst Richard Chu.

Salomon Smith Barney analyst Richard Gardner wrote: ``We do believe that Dell shares may be choppy near term in sympathy with competitors who report weak first-quarter top line results (Compaq Computer Corp. (CPQ.N) and Gateway Inc. (GTW.N)), but believe the shares will recover once Dell reports April quarter earnings in early May.'
"

When they hide negatives at the bottom of a positive headline it's a sure clue of hype. I wonder how many of those analysts have dumped from $58-to-$55? Ask yourself if you sold Dell at $59-$55 would you be ready to get in at $50-$54 or would you wait for a better price?
